I bought TWO similar pair of Skecher waterproof boots and kept this pair and returned the other both of which were the same size.I use to buy expensive Vibram hiking boots but as my body got older I find that I rarely hike more than 4 or 5 miles and don't need the same quality boot so I tried these Skechers after having a regular Skechers walking shoe that felt to and lasted a long time.Paid far less than 1/3 of what I would have paid for a high-quality Vibram hiking boot and am very satisfied with it... Also the first time I ever bought a boot without trying them on first. If it wasn't for Amazon's free returns I probably would not have bought them because it can be very hard to find a boot you want to live in for many miles... Now, 4 and 5 miles is nothing like 15+ which I no longer have the endurance for in the mountains, which I miss very much, but am happy with my local and state parks that I can still hike.I'm a boot guy. I wear boots all day, every time, with every outfit. I've got any kind of boot you can think of - work, cowboy, hunting, rubber, leather, hiking, combat, pull on, zip up, lace up. You name it. I LOVE these boots. They've become my new favorite daily wear. They are comfortable, attractive (to me at least) and well made.Fit perfectly for me, though if you like a tighter fit, you might could go down a half size for a good snug feeling with thick socks.They do seem to be water proof as stated. I haven't stood in standing water yet, but I've had them soaked to the bone in rain, wet grass and a weekend car washing - feet stayed comfy and dry. They are also VERY comfortable to walk in, with great ankle support and arch. Normally a good hike causes me untold shin and foot pain, but these seem to be doing the trick. High recommended.Too flimsy for a work boot. It's comfortable. Fit is ok. Looks ok. I returned it because the weight of the boot, the thickness of the sole, the thickness of the leather upper, the stitching, all of this indicate it is not a real work boot. The boot upper and sole appear to be only attached with glue, no stitching is visible. Glued soles never last. I guess this boot is really made for people who want to play "dress-up" like a day laborer. In that case, this is your boot.I purchased these about two moths ago and wear them 9-10 hours per day for work walking and standing on concrete floors that are wet and cold. The fit is good and do seem a little wide at first but can be snugged up tight with the laces. They do provide good arch support but I did put in another insole made for walking on concrete floors. Being that I work on wet floors I did put two good coats of mink oil on them to help water proof them better. The stitching, lace eyelets and overall finish of these boots is very well done. The soles seem to have good traction and do absorb shock from walking. Overall I would recommend these and depending how often you wear them they should last a long time. I wanted to give Skechers another try when I saw these. This model looked more work tough, and they definitely are. Still waterproof and so far had held up greatI bought this pair of chukka boots for dove hunting. when they arrived I put them on and they fit well and very comfortable. I normally wear 9 1/2 E. I ordered 10. anyway. I was going to wear them a little and break them in before I went hunting. These boots are so comfortable I have been wearing them everyday to work also. very lightweight. I must say I have only had them for a week now, hope they hold up.Great product, look great & comfortable out of box. These are a light hiking boot with relaxed fit & fairly wide fit. Just what I was looking for! Not a heavy duty hiking boot but great for they few times I use them each year.I've recently become something of a Sketchers convert as the comfort is always great with their products. I was a little sceptical they could pull off a comfy boot, but I needn't be as they are really comfy and fit well. The bottoms are memory foam and around the ankle it's well padded. I go to festivals each year and I'm looking forward to trying these out as normally my feet start to hurt with most boots after a day or so. I'm reasonably confident I'll fair better with these.Loads cheaper on here than other shops I looked at too.Nice comfy boots, fitted fine & waterproof too. Needs some breaking in to get them fitting OK, but after 4-5 walking trips are fine. Quite light-not 'clumpy', overall very pleased with purchase!
